Air-Operated Single Position Torque Limiters engage at single
position, and are a kind of air-operated overload protection device,
which disengage load instantaneously when overload is applied.
Typical Applications: Printing Machines, Packaging
Machines, Transfer Lines, Filling Machines, Can Making Machines,
Turn Table Drive Mechanism, General Industry Machines.

Is Set By Remote Control
Torque being changed by air pressure, the adequate torque
is finely adjusted at hand without stopping machine.

Starting Torque and Running Torque
Dual Air Pressure System at the high air pressure realizes
no slip during accelerating at startup and the prevention
from overload during normal running at the low air pressure.
This operation mode is automatically switched.

Wide Adjustable Torque Range
Adjustable torque range is 1:7.

High Accurate Release Torque and High Responsibility
The accuracy of release torque is excellent due to the detent
ball mechanism. Immediately when overload occurs, the limit
switch detects it and exhausts air to disengage.

Single Position Mechanism and Automatic Reset
Single Position, Ball Detent Design assures re-engagement
of the drive from a complete stop in the same position every
time, providing the exact timing of both components.

Longer
Life and Maintenance-Free
As a durable material is used, wear is less, resulting in
longer life. Lubrication is not required as a sealed bearing
is used.
CTLP
Series, Air pressure engages the ball pockets of drive ring to
the balls of drive disc engage at same position.
When overload occurs, the balls are released out from the ball
pockets and only drag torque remains, and the limit switch detects
the movement of the cylinder and output a signal. Exhausting air
releases the load from power.
