DFE - QFE Series (HC Type Air Brakes)

Torque range: 1300~4300Nm
Large Size Air Brakes (HC Series) are consisting of two types: Single Friction Facing Air Brake and Dual Friction Facing Air Brake, which are suitable for high torque and low inertia applications.
Typical Applications: Forging Machines, Conveyors, Rolling Machines, Lumber Machines, Rubber Forming Machines, A variety of Presses, Shearing Machines.

Feature:

• Simple Piston and Cylinder Structure
  There is no influence by centrifugal force or torque fade due to the wear of friction facing.
• O-ring used for Sealing
  Repairing cost in comparison with that of tube type is lower and maintenance is easier.
• Structure of Disc
  Being not affected by a centrifugal force even at high speed, a stable torque is generated.
• Fin Structure
  Fin structure provides a better cooling effect, resulting in generating a stable torque.
• Splined Sliding Section
  Smooth movement makes a better release of disengagement.
• Multi-Split Friction Facing is Adopted
  Better air flow increases cooling effect, the material of friction facing is made of non-asbestos.
• Low Inertia
  Low inertia enables the most suitable stop at high speed.

Air is fed into the air chamber and pushes the piston. The pressure plate is pushed by the piston and moves, and then contacts a disc with a friction facing. The friction facing plate & housing, the disc & hub move smoothly through spline.
Air is exhausted, and then the return springs disengage the piston.
