Torque range: 100~1700Nm
Caliper Type Air Brakes are air-cooled and have a higher heat
capacity. Wide tension range of Max. 1:880 is generated by changing
the number of operating calipers and air pressure.
Typical Applications: Printing Machines, Cutter,
Slitters, New Paper Printing Presses, Offset Gravure Printing
Rotary Presses.

Feature:
-
No cooling water required and high heat capacity
BCH series brakes dissipate enough heat by air-cooling.
Rotor is fin-constructed and intakes cold air from inside the
brake and thus effectively dissipates generated heat to atmosphere.
The cost reduction such as initial cost, running cost and maintenance
cost (such as potential water leakage and deposit removals)
associated with water cooling are realized.
- Wide
rage of torque control (Max. 1: 880)
Caliper uses diaphragm, realizing very low minimum operation
pressure, and combining with operating caliper widens range
of torque controls up to 1:880.
- Low
Inertia and Light weight
Rotor has lightweight and low inertia.
-
Replacement of friction facing in seconds
The exchange of friction facings does not need any tool. Simply
pull the support pins.
-
Non-asbestos friction facing is used
Caliper
that diaphragm is built-in sensitively feedbacks change of the
air pressure to change torque.
Rotor, fins on the periphery of caliper and cooling fins on the
hub work to effectively dissipate the generated heat to atmosphere
and thus blocking the heat from shaft, bearing, and internal parts
of the brake.
Rotor pulls in cold air into the brake, which in turn cools the
air tube located in the inner radial parts of caliper, preventing
potential overheating.
For Friction facing can be replaced with one touch by pulling
friction facing support pin.
